THC Mocktails: Five Cannabis Cocktails Without the Hangover
By LOKI Editorial Team · Editorial · Aug 3, 2026

I have hosted exactly one party that people still bring up, and they bring it up because nobody left early, nobody cried near the coats, and everyone remembered where they’d parked. It was not the playlist, which my sister described as “a dentist’s office, but confident.” It was the bar: zero-proof, and five milligrams at a time.
A THC mocktail is simply a cocktail that swapped its liquor for a low-dose cannabis seltzer. Built properly, it drinks like the real thing — cold, bitter-edged, ceremonial, something to hold — and the next morning it stays out of your business.
How to build one
The math comes before the garnish: the seltzer is the spirit. One can of LOKI carries 3 to 5 milligrams of THC, and that number — not the number of glasses — is what you count. Split one can across two coupes and you’ve made two elegant half-doses, which is a lovely way to host. Pour two cans into one hurricane glass and you’ve made a decision.
Everything after that is an ordinary cocktail problem, and cocktail problems are the pleasant kind: citrus for the top note, something bitter or herbal for spine, ice that takes itself seriously, and a glass that makes people gesture with it.
Yuzu Citrus Cooler
Yuzu is what a lemon dreams about on its very best night. Start here if it’s your crowd’s first rodeo — bright, obvious in the good way, impossible to sip incorrectly — and the full build scales to a pitcher without complaint.
Lavender Peach Spritz
The one to hand a guest who announces they “don’t really do cannabis” in the tone of someone who doesn’t really do joy. Peach up front, lavender hovering somewhere above the rim, and a color that does half your hosting for you. The recipe is here.
Hibiscus Pear Fizz
Hibiscus makes everything look expensive; pear keeps it honest; the fizz is contractually obligated. This is the one that photographs so well you’ll be accused of hiring a caterer. Build it and deny everything.
Guava Island Breeze
For August, or for insisting on August. Guava is pure vacation and this one leans all the way in without getting sticky about it. If your party involves a kiddie pool full of ice — and I hope it does — this is what stands in it.
LOKI Mojito
The classic, minus the rum and its consequences. Mint, lime, a proper muddle — the entire ritual survives the swap, which is the point: no one standing at your bar wants a lecture on beverage innovation. They want a mojito.
Hosting math (read this twice)
- One can equals one dose. Whatever the glass looks like, count the cans.
- Label the batch. A taped index card reading “5mg per glass” is not fussy; it is the whole game.
- Pace the rounds. Drinks land in fifteen to forty-five minutes — no one needs a second before the first has introduced itself.
- Keep a zero-mg option just as cold and just as pretty. The best hosting trick I know.
- Adults 21 and over only — and nothing for anyone driving, pregnant, or nursing. Put it on the card; make it chic.
About the no-hangover part
I won’t promise you’ll feel magnificent tomorrow; that depends, as ever, on tonight’s pizza decisions. I’ll only point out what isn’t there: no alcohol, no sugar in the can, none of the 2 a.m. water-chugging penance. You wake up remembering everything — including, depending on your toast, a few things you’d rather not.
The rest of the recipe box lives here, the seltzers themselves in the beverage lineup, and if the whole category is new to you, read THC drinks, explained before you start batching.
